Alexa and Ben had to make a catapult for a 3rd grade contest. We decided to call up our very own engineer, Grandpa Smartt, to help! Wow, did he do a great job! After ALOT of research and experimenting he came up with two different types of catapults. The kids painted them and then on Friday they had the competition to see who could throw a miniature candy bar the farthest. Ben came in 5th place and we are not sure where Alexa came in. We are so thankful to have such a smart Grandpa!
