Youth Conference 2008

Here we are doing the human knot. We had to stand in a circle and everyone just walks forward and grabs right to left hands and left to right hands, but not with the same person. Then you have to untie yourself without letting go! We did it and it was cool! 

Here is our three mile hike. I am not sure if you can see from the picture that we went pretty straight up the mountain. It was so beautiful!! Hard, for people like me, not hard for Nan, our marathon runner President! 

We played Glow in the Dark golf. It was on a real golf course, so we only played five holes. We started at 10:00 and ended at 12:00. This was my favorite thing we did! There was no moon that night so we could see every star in the sky! We were crazy! Our theme was “Unity”, so Simon came up with some unity building games. They were not easy and it was fun to sit and watch all the different personalities come out on the different teams. For some it was easier, others not so easy! We played water Volleyball and went swimming The last night we had a fireside. We invited Josh to come speak. He just got home from serving in Iraq and he spoke about the Unity they have in the Marines. We then had a testimony meeting and then watched a movie, “The Best Two Years.”
