Today we went to a Splash Park. There are a few around the valley and they are located at a park. It is free and although they are meant for tiny kids, my kids had fun! It was cold water but it was 95 degrees out so they could not complain. I love free things!
Tonight we took we took the Young Women to Temple Square and learned all about Temples. It was pretty amazing to learn that there are only a handful of Religions in the world today that have Temples that are in use. There are hundreds of old ruins all over the world of Temples from the past but most religions do not have a temple that they worship in. We learned about the symbols that are on the temple and there are many. We learned what they represent and why they put them on the Temple. The Salt Lake Temple is so beautiful and there was a nice spirit there! If you ever go visit Temple Square look at all the beautiful carvings in the granite and ask what they mean, it is truly the Lords House.
