family vacation part 2. Gettysburg was my favorite place we visited. It was once again a very spiritual place. It was beautiful and the history and stories are amazing!! The kids loved it too because we got out of our car a lot and got to explore all the area's we had just listened to on our car CD tour.
It was late at night when we arrived at our Hotel in Gettysburg and as we arrived Ken quietly told me that this was a 6 week old hotel and that it was built next to a cemetery. I didn't think too much about it until we drove up and I saw the cemetery. We did not tell the kids so they would sleep that night. It was so funny! This picture is of our window. You could literally jump out our window onto a grave. It was pretty cool!
