For those of you who know our chicken history you will find this quite funny! I came walking in our laundry room and saw our neighbors chicken in the window. Now usually when I find a chicken in my yard it is usually torn into many pieces all over the yard. This is the reason we ended up selling our dog Caleigh. But now that she is gone, apparently the chickens find our yard a safe haven from the raccoons and foxes that have been attacking them in their own yard. After all the chickens that have died in my yard, I find it makes me smile and feel happy inside that it feels safe here. And since Caleigh is now gone and this chicken keeps coming in our yard I think we will name it...Caleigh!
